This exhibit was the result of an eight-week collaboration between artist–writer teams and children from nine Toronto community centres. Over an eight week period participants worked together to create video, drawing, photographic, written and other mixed media installations that reflected the children’s experience and understanding of their neighbourhoods.

Children at the following Community Centres participated: Jane and Finch Boys and Girls Club, ArtHeart Community Art Centre, Parkdale Community Centre, Harbourfront Community Centre, St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club (Annex), Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis, Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre, 519 Community Centre, Ralph Thornton Centre.
